NEW YORK – High School Democrats of America (HSDA) National Communications Director Andrew Peng and Press Director Joshua Dantzler released the following statement in response to tonight’s debate at Hofstra University:
“On one side, Secretary Clinton was cool, calm, and collected throughout the debate, proving once again that she is ready to serve as commander-in-chief on day one. From race relations to gun violence, her clear, detailed answers were testament of her unparalleled policy knowledge and experience.
“On the other side, Donald Trump can claim credit for failed airlines, steaks, magazines, and a fraudulent university – and he can now add an embarrassing presidential debate to the list. He dodged questions, attempted to rewrite history, and showed a blatant disregard for the truth. We sincerely hope America’s fact checkers get some well-deserved sleep tonight.
“With just a little more than 43 days left until November 8, HSDA members across the country will do their part to help elect Secretary Clinton by registering thousands of voters as part of the our annual National Voter Registration Week of Action. We’ll certainly have more to say later.”
