We’re thrilled to announce the launch of The Progressive Teen (TPT): HSDA’s official publication, written by and for high school students who are shaping the future of progressive politics.

TPT will serve as a national platform for young Democrats to share their voices, perspectives, and stories, from op-eds on policy to creative pieces on civic life. Each edition will highlight the work of student activists, elevate local and national issues, and spark conversations that inspire action within our movement.

Our newly appointed staff writers and editors represent diverse regions and backgrounds, united by a shared passion for writing and organizing. Together, they’ll produce biweekly pieces that reflect both the urgency and optimism of our generation.

Stay tuned for our first wave of articles later this month, and if you’re passionate about writing, activism, or political storytelling, you’ll soon have the chance to get involved too.
